Maxine's Powers:

Maxine’s powers are mysterious in origin, but they have definitely helped her up the corporate ladder. She has great telepathic powers, including the ability of total mental control of another person. She also has telekinetic powers. However, her greatest power is her cunning mind.

Bio:

Abandoned by parents at the age of three, Maxine was adopted by a young farming couple in a small European town. Her adoptive parents were very poor, and Maxine often was given little of anything that they had. This upbringing, coupled with the ridicule of her classmates, spurned Maxine on a goal to obtain wealth and power. However, when she reached the age of 16, Maxine began to develop strange powers, which were unknown in origin. She could hear voices when people were not speaking. She could hear secrets…soon, after much secret training, she harnessed her newfound abilities, and after “nudging” one of her cruel classmates into insanity, she started on her path towards power.
     She graduated high school, cum laude, and entered college, where she obtained multiple degrees. After mentally reading the mind of a would-be inventor, she swiped his idea, and made millions from it. These millions were the start of her empire, Quantumtech Enterprises, which has grown in influence and status in the business field ever since. Maxine had also grown very influential in politics as well. However, she still craved more power.
     Her answer came when the seven Host Leaders contacted her, in hopes of using her technology to open a portal between dimensions. She, for mysterious reasons, has agreed, and engineered four Macro-Gates on the four points on Earth: N, S, E, and W. What is the purpose of this? Right now, Maxine won’t tell.
