Angel Knight's Powers:

Transformation: (\"Angelic agent power, transform!\") Rai’s henshin item is a small golden cross. To transform, he holds said cross above his head and invokes the transformation phrase. He is subsequently enveloped by a column of white light which becomes opaque and then fades away, leaving him in his fuku. His fuku is a set of platinum-coloured platemail armour and an impressive pair of white, feathered angelic wings with which he is capable of flight. At his side is a sheathed golden sword, his main weapon. As a senshi, he is an incarnation of the Archangels and represents the divine as perceived by more Western religions, acting as sort of an ambassador to the less Christian society in Japan--much to his chagrin as he is not particularly religious, and certainly not perfectly willing to accept Christianity. At all times while he is transformed he has improved strength and speed like any senshi, as well as the added benefit of flight using his wings.
Divine Healing: Angel Knight takes the sword, touches its broad side to another’s wounds, and quietly says \"As those who believed, you too shall benefit from divine healing.\" This will instantly close and disinfect, scarlessly, any soft-tissue wounds. The deeper the wound, the more effort required of Angel Knight. It can knit bones as well, but they must be properly set first and it is quite taxing.
Divine Intervention: Angel Knight’s only attack besides the use of his sword. He raises the sword up, shouts \"Divine\", at which point a bright light forms on the sword’s blade, then swings the sword downward, as he does so shouting \"Intervention!\" The light flies off the end in an iridescent bolt that causes considerable damage to whatever it hits and, best of all, ignores armour and shielding.

Bio:

The son of a prominent executive of an electronics company, Rai was born into wealth and has never known want, as everything he wished to have was provided, not the least of which being the sporty car he received on his 16th birthday. One would think that this would breed in him a bratty, spoiled nature… on the contrary, his father strongly enforced in him the values of practicality, explaining that he didn’t get where he was in life by being reckless. He always made Rai earn the things he was lucky enough to get, in some way or another. He learned to make compromises and speak diplomatically from his father, the avid businessman. His mother had somewhat less of an effect on developing his personality, but was very supportive to him and encouraged his enrollment in school sports. Though he was loaded with material possessions, Rai felt something was missing in his life and filled the void with his two sports, basketball and swimming. He trains to excel at these and they are a major part of his life, and have led him to be very physically active to the point where, now, he can hardly sit still. He is slow to befriend, due to his discretion, but a true friend once you secure his trust. He could not escape some element of sheltering in his high-class upbringing, however, and tends to be quite sensitive. When he took his first chemistry course at school, Rai loved it and has taken advanced chemistry ever since, enjoying the other two sciences as well. However, artistic things never appealed to him as he finds the natural beauty of science far greater than any beauty that man may create. Since he was awakened as a senshi, his life has been turned somewhat upside-down, and he doesn’t know what to make of it. While he thinks it’s neat to have powers, he is not sure whether he’s ready to protect the world and he is certainly not happy about representing a religion he doesn’t necessarily agree with… but the wings are cool. He likes the sense of freedom that they bring and likes, almost as a pastime, to transform and simply fly around.
