bracelet, Souzan calls on the invocation to transform into her
alter ego.
The Harmony Saber: Sailor Nova's trademark sword, a lightsaber-like
katana. She is an excellent swordswoman, and few in the galaxy
can defeat her in combat.
Galactic Fireball: Nova was the fire soldier of her original
senshi team. However, her powers stem from the fire of the novas.
Anyway, when she shouts the incantation, she places her palms
together in the "kamehameha" pose. A ball of flame materializes
in her palms. She then releases it towards the enemy, causing
major damage. However, it cannot destroy an enemy.
"Evil Spirits, Disperse": Although not on the same
level as Rei Hino, Souzan can utilize psychic energy. Instead
of scrolls, however, she uses small disks with characters in her
native planet's language. When thrown, these disks can temporarily
paralyze an enemy.
Souzan was born in an unknown galaxy, to the King and Queen
of the small planet Fheonix. Trained since birth to be a swordswoman,
Souzan followed in her father's footsteps, traversing the kingdom
in search of adventure. At the tender age of 14, Souzan was awakened
to her duty as Sailor Nova, the starfire soldier. She was to protect
Princess Selestria, the monarch of the galaxy. Serving under Sailor
Nebula, and with the other Galactic Senshi, Souzan did her duty,
finally earning her talisman, The Harmony Saber, when she became
19.
Years flew by, and Souzan slowly came into the role as second-in-command
of the Galactic Senshi. A big sister/little sister relationship
blossomed between her and Nebula, and they became close friends.
All was well in the galaxy wide kingdom, until one fateful daywhen
he arrived. His name was Prince Justin Triton, from a small unknown
planet at the edge of the galaxy. Triton instantly fell in love
with the Princess, and pursued a romance with her. The two would
often get into trouble with Selestria's royal parents. Many a
day, the Galactic Senshi found themselves covering for their princess,
who would sneak out for romantic evenings with the mysterious
Triton.
However, one fateful evening, Prince Triton showed his true colors. He was really after the most powerful jewel in the galaxy, The Eye of Odin, in possession of the royal family. Executing his dreadful plan, he murdered the Princess by poisoning. When he finally found the Eye, and used the powers given to him, he defeated and murdered the entire Galactic Senshi team except Nova. Deciding to keep her alive, the villain escaped from that galaxy, and made his way towards the Milky Way Galaxy.
With unmeasured vengeance, Nova pursued him. However, when
arriving on Earth, Souzan found herself out of place. A choice
run-in with a certain Jetta Magnus changed her life. Now, Nova
serves in the Squadron, awaiting the day when she will draw her
Saber against Triton and win.
